Making a Difference
HUNAP's alumni and friends are essential to the program's mission: bring together Native American students and interested individuals from the Harvard Community for the purpose of advancing the well-being of indigenous peoples through self-determination, academic achievement, and community service. Every day, they make a difference as leaders in their communities, hospitals, governments and schools. Our alumni and friends also make a difference by "giving through HUNAP" to improve the educational experience while students are at Harvard. With gifts of time, talent and treasure, our alumni and friends enable HGSE faculty and students to teach, study, research and work in the field on pivotal Native concerns.
Each person who gives time or financial resources to HUNAP has his or her own motivations for making a gift. Fundamentally, however, gifts to HUNAP are linked by the shared concern for ensuring high quality educational opportunities for all students.A Philanthropic Resource
